An elevated position

Beyond application help. A deeper process for helping students grow into their story.

Most admissions support focuses on packaging the application at the end. Jeremy’s value is earlier, deeper, and more personal: helping capable students recognize their strengths, build substance behind the application, and move forward with confidence.

Typical application help
  • Essay editing
  • College list support
  • Deadline management
  • Activity descriptions
The Marchese difference
  • Identifies strengths students may not see yet
  • Builds meaningful academic and extracurricular experience
  • Connects interests to possible majors, mentors, and opportunities
  • Turns growth into a stronger, more authentic application story

The Marchese Method

Discover. Develop. Distinguish.

A simple, testimonial-backed framework for turning potential into a coherent college path.

01

Discover Direction

Help students identify strengths, interests, values, possible majors, and the qualities that make them distinctive.

02

Develop Meaningful Experience

Choose purposeful coursework, activities, leadership, service, research, competitions, internships, or projects that build substance over time.

03

Distinguish the Story

Translate the student’s development into a clear college list, application narrative, essays, activity descriptions, interviews, and recommendations strategy.

Who Jeremy helps best

For capable students whose achievements have not yet become a clear direction.

Jeremy works especially well with students who are capable of doing very well, but need help identifying what makes them distinctive and turning that potential into a deliberate college strategy.

  • High-achieving students who need differentiation beyond grades
  • Student-athletes, academic competitors, artists, leaders, and service-minded students
  • Students who feel overwhelmed or uncertain despite strong potential
  • Families who want individualized mentorship, not a standardized admissions package
  • College students who want to find mentors, opportunities, and academic direction

Recognition outreach concept

Your achievement is more than a line on an application.

Recognition in athletics, academics, leadership, or service can reveal important qualities about a student — but one achievement alone does not create a college strategy.

Jeremy helps families answer:

  • What does this achievement reveal about the student?
  • How can the student build on it thoughtfully?
  • What courses, projects, leadership roles, or summer opportunities would deepen it?
  • How might it connect to possible majors, colleges, and future direction?

About Jeremy

A university insider who sees potential early and helps students develop it deliberately.

For 25 years, Jeremy Marchese worked inside higher education, helping students navigate academic choices, personal growth, university systems, mentors, and opportunities they often did not realize were available to them.

For 13 of those years, he directed a major university honors program. Today, he brings that perspective earlier in the process — helping middle- and high-school students clarify who they are, build from their strengths, and develop a college strategy rooted in substance rather than packaging.

A few words from Jeremy

“Potential becomes powerful when a student can recognize it, develop it, and understand where it can take them.”
“I want students to leave this process with more than an admission. I want them to understand themselves better and know how to create opportunities wherever they go.”

Student voices

Former students remember more than the advice.

Former students have gone on to become attorneys, physicians, researchers, engineers, and business professionals — but they remember Jeremy most for helping them recognize what they were capable of becoming.
